“…And the Battle Begun” - Rx Bandits
Release all your tension
Yesterday was a full day. Much the opposite of today, so I’ll relive yesterday since nothing happened today lol
I ran into Brady and Rafi outside of Geisel, then ran into Jemuel at Sunshine market, then Jamelle in Price Center. Running into people, not physically, makes your day so much better! After our Comm class, I went to a free show at Porter’s Pub with Sandy and Edditha. I think I’ve met more new people yesterday than I did the last four quarters at UCSD. I can tell this quarter is going to be a blast.
And is it ever so fitting that I end the night with a Bro congregation at James’ house for a little Madden tournament and story time. They so cute and I’m so lucky to have them. ^__^
Stuff like this is why I like to bring my camera places, because when I’m 80 (if I make it that far) I can look back and see that I was fine as hell.

“Rearrange” - Miles Kane
I heard of Miles Kane through The Last Shadow Puppets, which I heard of through Arctic Monkeys because of Alex Turner and found Miles Kane’s band The Rascals, but I was unaware of his solo work. o_O
“Pizza Day” - The Aquabats
Monday: Hotdogs
Tuesday: Tacos
Wednesday: Hamburgers and Chocolate Milk
Thursday: Sloppy Joes and Burritos in a bag
Friday was Pizza Day, the best day of the week.
It always came with salad and a side of cold green beans.
This song will forever remind me of Jemuel.
It’s a great feeling when one of your homies wants to catch up and have a genuine heart-to-heart conversation. Listening to another person’s troubles and feelings gives you perspective on your own troubles and feelings. Even going through the motions of telling your own recent stories helps you refocus and re-evaluate where you are and how you got here.
I wish him the best and I hope he stays up.
